Currently I am...
Making more time for myself. For the last few days I have been doing 30 minutes of yoga while Hannah takes her nap. I absolutely love the way I feel after I do yoga. It's like my body is reset. My posture is better, my aches and pains are minimized, and I'm motivated to keep up with my healthy goals for the day. It really is amazing what thirty minutes can do.
Listening to The Cave by Mumford and Sons on Spotify. Do you guys use Spotify? I'm pretty enamored with it. Maybe I'm late to the party, but I just discovered it recently. I love me some Pandora, but Spotify is even better. Total access to songs, albums, and play lists all for free. Besides Mumford and Sons, I've been listening to a lot of Otis Redding and a little Michael Jackson whenever Hannah is in the dancing mood.
Craving corn on the cob. Last summer I found a new way to cook corn on the cob. Basically you just throw the un-husked corn into the oven at 350 degrees for thirty minutes. The husks keep all the moisture and flavor in. Seriously so good. And since corn is in season right now, I've been indulging every chance I get.
Writing slightly more often on this blog. Blogging is so much easier in the summer. I feel so much more inspired to write, I have the time to write, and we are actually doing things that I can write about. Sometimes during the year things get so tedious and monotonous. I'm thoroughly enjoying the change of pace. I feel like I come alive in the summer, and I want this blog to represent that.
Laughing at this hilarious blog, Honest Toddler. If you haven't heard of it before you really need to check it out. Especially if you are a mama to a toddler.
