Currently I am...

Inspired by British culture. So far this summer I've watched two seasons of Downton Abbey and I am in the middle of the Harry Potter series. I've started drinking tea and I've fallen in love with Maggie Smith. So much goodness comes from England.

Devouring lots of yummy summer foods. More sweet corn on the cob, juicy peaches, tomatoes, and avocados. Yesterday for the Forth of July we grilled burgers and treated ourselves to some red, white and blue cupcakes. Food is so much better in the summer.

Thankful for my sweet little girl who had been on her best behavior this week. My parents went on vacation, so we've been house sitting for them since last Thursday. I was a little worried about how Hannah would handle being in a big house that isn't childproofed. I imagined that she would be breaking things left and right. But surprisingly she is doing really well. We gave her a clearing in the living room for her to spread our her toys, books, and puzzles and she's been right at home.

Watching Hannah turn into a little artist. She asks to color at least once a day and her drawings are still pretty impressive. We've been working with paints more lately but Hannah seems to prefer markers. Her best drawings are done on her trusty little magnadoodle. I just got her some play dough and she's a little skeptical. She loves to watch me make things for her though. I can make a pretty rad boa constrictor.

Starting to actually get things together for our wedding! This week I went dress shopping for the first time and I think I found the one. It doesn't look anything at all like what I was looking for, but I felt amazing when I put it on. I have an appointment to go back with my parents this Sunday. Wytmer and I also have two serious contenders on our list for the venue. Both locations are incredible and I can't wait to see them in person.
