Hello Lovlies. I hope you are all having a wonderful Labor Day weekend. We've been keeping ourselves busy with birthday celebrations for Wytmer. He turned 25 on Saturday so we dropped off Hannah to sleep the night with her grandma and Wytmer and I went out for a little fun on Washington Street. We sipped beer, danced, and giggled at some of the characters that you will find at bars. This morning we got up early to pick up Hannah before Wytmer went into work. It's been a quiet day, but a good one, and I am excited for my birthday boy to get back home. Hannah and I planned a little dinner of steak, roasted potatoes, and tossed salad. We baked a batch of cupcakes (yellow cake and chocolate icing, his favorite) and they came out really well. I used a box mix for the cake and made a nutella and cream cheese frosting that I could probably eat with a spoon. Hannah's been dying to sing Happy Birthday and has been practicing all day.
Tomorrow we will probably spend the holiday doing laundry and grocery shopping since I've put it off for the last couple days. But I'm not complaining. Three day weekends are never a bad thing.
